Winter Carnival 2020
Saturday February 8th join your favorite PMEC educators for an afternoon of winter activities at PMEC. Schedule below, but feel free to come and go as you please. No registration required!!! 


February 8th: PMEC, 1-4pm (66 Brook Road, Amherst NH)
Schedule of Events:
1:00-4:00 Warm up inside anytime with treats and hot coco. 
1:00-4:00 Make a craft for the birds and one for your family!
1:00-3:30 Campfire & S’more making by the pond (outside parking lot area)
1:15–1:45 Family Program, indoors upstairs in main room on top of staircase Winter Adaptation – Led by a PMEC Naturalist 
1:45–2:15 - Guided Hike- Story book trail and scavenger hunt (easier and shorter hike with younger children) 
2:00-2:30 Snowy Science – Join our naturalist’s for a lesson in making SNOW!
2:30-3:00 Family Game - Come join the fun over at the pond for a fun filled family game. 
3:00-3:30 Family Program - meet in the main room for Animal Tracks – Led by PMEC Naturalist 
3:00-4:00 Guided Hike, Longer for people wanting to see a little more!  
4:00–Carnival Ends – Goodbye! 

No need to register, just come and join the fun!

More About the Animal Tracks Program
Animal tracks- A family program for all ages. We will learn about the tracks left here at PMEC by mammals active in the winter. We will move like the animals- the hoppers, bounders, and waddlers! We will make some tracks to take home, and go outside to try to identify some!
