Herbal Salve Making

This program is currently unavailable. Click here to view all of our current programs.

Come learn how to make herbal salves! Salves are a simple, useful, and effective way to use herbs in your every day life. The combination of herbs, oils, and beeswax creates a soothing and nourishing blend specific to your needs. Although the salves are semi-solid at room temperature, they will soften once applied to the skin, making them convenient for travel and less messy than oils. Plus, they make excellent gifts or additions to your first aid kit! We'll be learning how to create herbal oil infusions, discuss different herb combinations, and how to incorporate them into your very own salve. You'll leave the class with a personalized salve as well as an infused oil to take home for future salve making.

Bring your hands and an open mind. All materials will be provided. Most of the herbs and products will be organic, depending on availability.
