PMEC’s Magical Elf Workshop – Just for Kids!

Calling all young elves-in-training! Step into a world of holiday magic at Peabody Mill Environmental Center, where kids can craft handmade gifts for their family and loved ones — all with a sprinkle of help from our jolly PMEC elves!

Create up to three special presents, wrap them up with care, and take them home ready to tuck under the tree. There will be festive games, tasty treats, and plenty of cheer to go around!

It’s the perfect way for kids to celebrate the joy of giving this holiday season.


Who: Children aged 6 -12 years. Please note: Caregivers are welcome to stay or drop off if the child feels comfortable.
Where: Peabody Mill Environmental Center
When: Saturday, December 13th, 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Fee: $40R, $50NR

Meet The Instructors
Hello! I am Michele Koltookian, a fellow Amherst resident and mom of twin boys. I am so grateful to be a PMEC educator and to be able to share my passion for all things science and nature. I am a former researcher who worked in the field of dog genetics. I hold a B.S. in Marine Science and Biology along with an M. Ed. in secondary education. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, baking, reading, and spending time outdoors. I am excited to bring my love of science and the knowledge that I gained over the years to kids at PMEC.
