							| 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Deck The Trails! - Deck The Trails Presented by: Amherst Parks & Recreation & The Amherst Conservation Commission Calling all holiday elves, nature lovers, and trail trekkers! This season, help us turn the trails of the Joe English Reservation into a winter wonderland filled with festive trees, joyful spirit, and a little bit of magic. Starting November 29th, pick a tree along any trail and give it a holiday makeover! Whether it’s twinkly, sparkly, silly, or sweet — how you decorate is totally up to you. Here’s how it works:
Pick a tree on the trail — your tree, your style!
Decorate it with care (and creativity!).
Snap a selfie with your tree and send it, along with its location, to mkoltookian@amherstnh.gov.
We’ll share your masterpiece on the PMEC Facebook page for all to see!
Then, bundle up and take a walk through the woods to see how your neighbors have decked the trails. Let’s fill the forest with cheer — the more decorated trees, the merrier! A few magical notes:
Edible decorations are welcome, but remember — woodland creatures are fast snackers! Your tasty ornaments might disappear quickly.
Be kind to the forest! Please take down your decorations by Tuesday, January 2nd.
