Dog Training
A five-week class that focuses on canine life skills that are necessary for dogs to live in a family environment.  Class teaching utilizes a choice-based, positive reinforcement training method, and aims to develop a dog who knows how to think and learn. Each class will work on skills like impulse control, settling, greeting people, moving through doorways, recall, loose leash walking, etc. Class also integrate traditional training class skills such as sits, downs, stays, etc. into the game-based class style.  Class is taught by certified professional dog trainer (CPDT-KA) Katrin Moffroid, of Beyond Sit Training.

Note that this class is not appropriate for dogs that are reactive to new people or dogs. Owners must provide proof of up to date vaccinations and proof of rabies vaccination in order to attend class. Dogs should come to class in a harness or flat collar on a non-retractable leash.
