Through yoga poses, visualization, and meditation, middle schoolers will develop both physical and emotional strength, concentration and self-awareness.
This class engages students with fun and cooperative activities and games that fosters the importance of collaborating and problem solving. Learning how to tune in to the quiet, still space within can helps kids navigate the changes and challenges of growing up.
This yoga class is suitable for males and females who are experienced with yoga and those who are new to yoga. It’s ideal for athletes who want to improve conditioning and for those students who are interested in becoming more active. Each student will be challenged according to his/her ability.
Please dress in comfortable, non-restrictive clothing. Bring water. Mats and blankets will be provided. We will hold class outside if the weather permits.
