After-School Spanish at AMS

Senora Rowley is a Spanish-speaking native and veteran educator. She has taught Spanish to children from preschool to high school in the classroom, as a tutor and for the Amherst Recreation Department for many years. She is known for her stellar reputation, her nurturing way and her deep love of Spanish language and culture.

She will expand and deepen their knowledge of grammar, phonetics and pronunciation. They will work on reading and translating written Spanish. This class will also explore Spanish culture and history.

Class is cancelled if school is cancelled or has an early dismissal due to weather.

Who: 5th-8th graders
When: Wednesdays 2:45-3:45 for 9 weeks Please see excluded dates
Where: Amherst Middle School, Room TBD

We must have 5 students for this class to run.
