Two Town Triathlon


The Milford and Amherst Recreation Departments are teaming up to host the Two Town Tri with the inaugural event on August 14th, 2022. This triathlon will start at 7am and include a dynamic and beautiful open traffic course through both Milford and Amherst. It is perfect for first time triathletes, and a great close-to-home option for seasoned professionals. Join us in a 300 yard pool swim, 14 mile bike and 5K run. All participants will receive a medal, and trophies will be awarded to the top 3 overall male and female athletes. 

Bib pickup will be from August 10th-13th at Keyes Pool or beginning at 6am on race day.

Individual Registration – one person doing all three legs (swim, bike, run)
Registration deadline dates:
Through June 15 - $85.00
Through July 8 - $95.00/last day for shirt
Through Aug 3 - $120.00/last day to register
 
Team Registration – three people, each doing one leg
*Registration should be completed by Captain, one registration per team*
Registration deadline dates:
Through June 15 - $105
Through July 8 - $115.00/last day for shirts
Through Aug 3 - $135.00/last day to register
 


Kids Mini Triathlon
We are offering a kids mini triathlon that will start at 9:30am. The complete course will be within Keyes Memorial Park in Milford and consist of a 50 yard swim, 1 mile bike and ¼ mile run.  *Participants must be able to swim 50 yds independently in order to enter*

Registration deadline dates:
Through July 8- $25.00/ last day for shirts
Through Aug 3- $25.00/ last day to register
 

Volunteers Needed!
We are looking for organizations to help us at water station, transitions and directing athletes throughout the course... and THE CHANCE TO WIN $500. In addition to helping with triathlon duties, organizations are encouraged to dress up and cheer on the athletes. After the race, athletes will vote for the most spirited organization and we will donate $500 to that organization. Scout troops, booster clubs, and any 501c3 is welcome to participate. Please have one member of your organization register below and see the Volunteer Letter for all details. Volunteer groups must register by July 31st.

Weather & Cancellation Policy
The Two Town Tri will go on rain or shine. In the case of thunder/lightning, we will push the start time to later in the day. August 21st will be reserved for a make-up date if the triathlon is cancelled.

Refunds minus a 30% cancellation fee will be accepted through July 8th. Beginning July 9th, no refunds will be offered. In the case of event cancellation, refunds will be provided.

Race Day Parking
Free parking will be available at 127 Elm St., Milford. Please look for signs for the West Entrance Parking Lot of Keyes Park.
