Pond Investigation
New this Fall… Preschool Field Trips!

Studies have shown that getting children outside at an early age helps develop a lifelong love for nature. At PMEC we strive to help educate people of all ages. One of the best ways to do that is to start early.
The Peabody Mill Environment Center is happy to announce our new Field Trip programming for preschoolers. Peabody Mill Environmental Center (PMEC) is an environmental and science education center which abuts almost 600 acres of Joe English conservation land. PMEC is located in Amherst, NH and is directed by the Amherst Parks and Recreation Department.
We will explore science, nature, animals in the environment, and much more.

Over the course of two hours a PMEC Educator will guide the children in a rotating manor between each topics. Please see topics below.

Who: Children ages 3-6 and their caregivers
Where: Peabody Mill Environmental center
When: Friday October 22nd 12:30 PM-2:00PM
Fee: $20R; $25NR

Please Note: All classes will have an element of outdoor time; if weather is a factor we will be able to hold class inside while maintaining 3 feet apart.

Fall Topics
