Meet The Instructors
Hello everyone! My name is Susie Poore. I’m an Amherst resident and a lifelong New Hampshire native. My background was largely in nonprofit research and development until I began working at PMEC as an Educator in 2023. This role has inspired my deep love of nature and outdoor education, eventually prompting me to switch career paths. Now, I’m grateful to wear many hats throughout the year - teaching assistant, educator, and camp director - and learn something new every day. I look forward to sharing my excitement for the outdoors with the Amherst community. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, playing lawn games, watching sports, and spending time with family.

Hi, I'm Miss Christine. I've lived in Amherst for 14 years, with my husband, 2 kids, dog, and 3 birds. When my kids were younger, we did lots of programs at PMEC, and always loved them. I'm happy to be here at PMEC helping another generation of families learn and explore nature here!
