Sandlot Lacrosse
A great way to introduce your athlete to the game of lacrosse. This is a beginner program that will focus on FUNdamentals!
-Players born between Sept 1, 2017 and August 31, 2019 in grades PK - K.
-Players will have one practice a week and compete in small sided games during their practice times.
-Practice on Monday nights from 5:30-6:30 starting in mid-April.
-No indoor practices.
-It is our hope to have both boys and girl's teams in Sandlot Lacrosse. If we do not get enough registrations, we will make Sandlot a co-ed program.
March 1 - Early bird $25 discount ends.
March 20 - Register deadline to ensure your pinnie is ordered in time for the start of the outdoor season.
April 5 - Registration Deadline
Equipment needed:
Girls: Stick, goggles, mouth guard, cleats
Boys: Stick, helmet, gloves, shoulder pads, elbow pads, cup, mouth guard, cleats
Travel Lacrosse
8U - Players born between Sept 1, 2015 and August 31, 2017. (Will play on small field)
10U - Players born between Sept 1, 2013 and August 31, 2015. (Will play on small field)
12U - Players born between Sept 1, 2011 and August 31, 2013. (Will play on large field)
Will be playing in the NHYLA League.

Indoor practices @ The Hampshire Dome: Early season SKILLS/TEAM practices
Wed 3/6, Mon 3/18, Wed 3/20, Wed 3/27, Fri 3/29, Thur 4/4, Sat 4/6
Outdoor practices: Tuesday/Thursday evenings when fields are available late March/early April.
Games: Most games scheduled on Sundays; First game is Sun 4/7
NHYLA Jamboree: June 8 & June 9

U14 Travel Lacrosse
Amherst Rec Lacrosse is trying to gauge interest in U14 teams. If you are interested in joining a team, please sign up and get on the waitlist. You will not be charged anything at this time. We are also looking for coaches for this age group. Please reach out if interested!
Lacrosse Officials Needed!
Interested in getting more involved in the lacrosse community? Consider becoming a lacrosse official. Adult officials, as well as youth officials are needed.
