Kin:pathic Summer Camp for ALL Preschoolers and kids Age 6-9

The Amherst Rec Dept is excited to partner with Kin:pathic of Amherst to offer summer fun for children ages 3-5yrs and 6-9 years.

These week-long camps will explore a variety of themed experiences. This year we are thrilled to be bringing back the very popular Sugar Chef camp, where little ones get to put on the chef's hat and create some tasty treats!  New to our camp themes this year we have added Beat Boppers for preschoolers to enjoy dancing, playing and moving to live music!  For our 6-9 year olds we will offer a Fantastic Fitness week where we play some gym class favorites and explore both physical and mental health with some mindfulness exercises as well.  Finally, our Crafty Creators week for ages 6-9 is just what it sounds like: a week of creating a variety of projects from friendship bracelets, to paintings, and more!

PRESCHOOL PROGRAM
Who: Preschoolers - 3-5 year old - Please note: Potty trained is not mandatory 
Where: Bright Ideas Preschool 292 Route 101, Salzburg Square Amherst NH 03031
When: Monday-Friday from 9:00am to 2:00pm

Week 1: Budding Botanists 7/8/24-7/12/24 - This horticulture themed summer camp will teach your little one about the care and keeping of plants. We will grow our own seeds, learn about pollinators and the life cycle of a plant, and explore the local plants all around us!

Week 2: Sugar Chef 7/15/24-7/19/24 - Join us for a week filled with sprinkles, frosting, and endless creativity, as we whip up a world of tasty treats and create sweet memories! From crafting colorful cupcakes to decorating delicious cookies, this hands-on camp is a recipe for fun!

Week 3: Experimentation Station 7/22/24-7/26/24 - Embark on an exciting journey of discovery with our Preschool Science Experiment Camp! Specifically tailored for young, curious minds, this camp offers hands-on experiments and engaging activities. Join us as we inspire budding scientists, encouraging exploration and learning!

Week 4: Beat Boppers 7/29/24-8/2/24 - Is your little one a music enthusiast, always moving to the rhythm? Beat Boppers summer camp is the perfect fit! This camp revolves around music and movement, offering kids the chance to relish in musically-inspired games, discover live music, and experiment with basic instruments for a creatively engaging experience.

Week 1: Crafty Creators 7/22/24 - 7/26/24 - Experience a week of creative exploration at our Crafting Camp!  Dive into hands-on activities to sample a variety of art and craft modalities, sparking boundless creativity.  Discover the joy of crafting through innovative projects and forge new friendships along the way!

Week 2: Fantastic Fitness 7/29/24 - 8/2/24 - Experience the ultimate summer gym glass!  Join our camp for a week filled with energetic games and activities.  Camps will enjoy playing with friends while also discovering the importance of self-care, exploring how it positively impacts both their physical and mental wellness through physical and mindful exercises!
