Let's get ready for the upcoming season with our winter skills clinic!  We’re excited to announce that girls from 9-13 years old will have the opportunity to enhance their skills under the direction of Souhegan High School coaches and players from the SHS softball program.
 
Who: Ages 9-13 year olds
When: Monday, March 18 - Thursday, March 21 from 6-8pm
Where: Amherst Middle School Gym
Cost: $80 Resident, $100 Non-Resident

*participants will need their own glove

Meet your Coaches!
  • Jaime Harnish is one of the current Head Softball Coaches for the Souhegan Sabers. Jaime has been coaching softball since 2016 and has been involved in softball all her life. Jaime has ran the Recreation Department Softball Summer Camp since it began back in 2016 and also coaches Amherst’s 12U Girls Fallball Softball. Jaime has worked with children of all ages for 28 years and takes great pride knowing she has been a part of so many softball players development over the years.
  • Hannah Cochran is also one of the current head coaches for the Souhegan High School varsity softball program. Hannah‘s softball career began at the tender age of 6 and it became her main focus for the following 19 years. In her 13 years of playing year-round and competitively, she excelled as a pitcher/shortstop and was regularly voted captain by coaches and teammates alike. Hannah learned many profound life lessons through her softball career; like the thrill of victory, the agony of defeat, the strength of friendship, the satisfaction of putting in the work, the quiet glory of overcoming obstacles, and many more. She has found that playing a part in the physical and mental formation of younger players brings her enormous joy.
