If you’ve never picked up a knitting needle, but want to learn how to knit, this class is for you! The ancient craft of knitting is currently enjoying a new wave of popularity. It’s fun, social, and portable. And there may be some health benefits as well! This class will teach the four basic components of knitting: the knit stitch, the purl stitch, casting on, and binding off. Fundamental knitting concepts and techniques, as well as pattern reading will be covered. Before the end of class, students will have the skills to make a scarf, dishcloth, or small accessory!
