Meet The Instructor
Sheila Rogers, RYT500, (2021) 300-hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training with Rolf Gates; (2017) 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2017. She has also has studied Restorative Training with Judith Hansen Lasiter, Rewind Gold: Successful Aging, Yoga Anatomy & Physiology with Andrew McGonigle (a.k.a. Doctor Yogi) and Yin Yoga with Josh Summers. She is also Reiki I and II certified.
Sheila began her yoga journey in 2005 in Power Yoga to enjoy its physical benefits and replace her 10-year practice of Uechi-Ryu Karate. She found that the emotional and spiritual benefits are huge as yoga postures and meditations have brought much comfort, peace and balance through career, emotional and physical challenges. Her “Slow Flow Vinyasa” classes gently combine the physical, emotional and meditative benefits Vinyasa Flow, Restorative and Yin yoga.
Sheila loves sharing what yoga offers as it enhances your personal abilities, peace of mind, and most of all … life. She hopes that in her class you learn to honor and listen to your own body and take the beautiful space you make on your mat back to your family, community, all beings and our world; remember to always treat yourself and others with kindness, love and compassion.
