Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction for Teens - Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction for Teens: Winter 2025 Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction for Teens (MBSR-T) is a research-based, skill building opportunity for young people to come together in a safe, small group learning environment. This therapeutic, educational support group will focus on building skills to help teens manage the myriad of demands they face today, including but not limited to: school, familial demands, peer relationships, self-imposed pressure, and much more. Benefits for participating in these group sessions include:
Developing skills that can help rewire the brain to focus on taking in the good (instead of focusing on the bad)

Amherst Rec Lacrosse - Sandlot Lacrosse - Boys REGISTRATION OPENS JAN 1, 2025Amherst Recreation is excited to be teaming up with Amherst Lacrosse Club to offer Lacrosse to both boys and girls in the Souhegan Valley Region. Our goal is to teach athletes the FUNdamentals of Lacrosse in both practices and games. We will offer both a Sandlot program for our youngest players in PK - K and a Travel Lacrosse program for players in 1-6 grade. See below for more info on each programs details, fees and registration deadlines. Important Registration InfoRegistration opens January 1st, 2025 and closes February 28, 2025.US Lacrosse Membership: Players in the travel program will need to become a member of US Lacrosse by clicking here before registering for this program.
