Participants must be able to swim 25 yards unassisted.Swim team practice begins on June 24th and runs through usually the first week of August (depending on when the state meet is). Practices are 9am-10am Monday through Friday at Baboosic Lake. The meet schedule will be put online as soon as it is finalized. Fee: $120R, $160NRT-Shirt and Swim Cap included with registration.SUIT INFO: A green or black suit is recommended for meets. 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM	Baboosic Lake Town Beach- Boat Storage - 2025 Seasonal Boat Storage REGISTRATION OPENS JAN 1Amherst Recreation Department will have 10 boat slips available for the 2025 season.  The season starts on May 1, 2025 and goes until October 31, 2025.  Boat Storage is for Amherst Residents Only.  Each boat will be given a specific rack spot.  Each boat will have a sticker and number that associates the boat to that rack spot.  The Sticker must be visible while being stored on the rack.  Only 1 boat per rack spot.
9:00 AM - 10:00 AM	Baboosic Lake Swim Team - BLST-2025 Join the Baboosic Lake Swim Team!Our team is a seasonal swim team offering coaching, technique and instruction for all ages and abilities. The goal of our team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills in order to achieve success at his or her level of ability, make new friends and have a great deal of fun! Swim Team is open to all ability levels ages 6 to 18. Participants must be able to swim 25 yards unassisted.Swim team practice begins on June 24th and runs through usually the first week of August (depending on when the state meet is). Practices are 9am-10am Monday through Friday at Baboosic Lake. The meet schedule will be put online as soon as it is finalized. Fee: $120R, $160NRT-Shirt and Swim Cap included with registration.SUIT INFO: A green or black suit is recommended for meets. Below are a common option. Amherst Rec will not be purchasing suits this season. One-Piece Suit: CLICK HEREJammer Suit: CLICK HEREParent Volunteer Requirement: Parents will be required to assist at meets with various jobs.  This program cannot run without parent help.  Please plan accordingly and coaches will be reaching out when help is needed. PLEASE NOTE: A Beach Pass (full season or daily) must be purchased in order to remain at the beach after the conclusion of swim team practice. A Beach Pass is not required for athletes and their families during swim team practice. Please call the office if you are registering for a Season Beach Pass- Swim team families are eligible for a one-time $10 discount, available through the office.
