Cancellation Policy


Amherst Parks and Recreation Department Cancellation Policy (in effect 10/1/2021)
 
Refunds will be made on all programs cancelled by Amherst Parks and Recreation Department.

Sports
Programs canceled by individuals before the first program session will receive a refund or credit minus a 30% cancellation fee and minus any uniform fees.
No refunds or credits will be given after the first session of a program.

Trips
Trips are non-refundable unless we have canceled the trip, or the spot can be filled.

Summer Camps*
Camp registration canceled by individuals before June 1st will receive a refund or credit minus a 30% cancellation fee. No refunds after June 1st.
*This does not include specialty summer camps. Please see specific program page for details.
 
Programs
Programs canceled by individuals before the first program session will receive a refund or credit minus a 30% cancellation fee.
No refunds or credits will be given after 24 hours before the first session of a program.
