Ice Skating Rinks

• The Town of Amherst is not responsible for any injury or accident incurred during the use of this skating facility. 
• Skate at your own risk!
• Users are encouraged to wear helmets and other protective gear.
• Be considerate of others.
• Skating alone is not recommended.
• Alcohol and Tobacco is prohibited.
• Dispose of trash properly.
• Outside equipment, such as goals, are not to be used at the rink without prior consent from the Recreation Department.

Monday - Friday

8am-10:30am—Free Skate

10:30am-2:40pm Closed for Maintenance

2:40pm-4pm—Hockey Only

4pm-7pm—Free Skate/No Hockey

7pm-10pm—Hockey Only

Saturday & Sunday

8am-3pm- Free Skate/No Hockey

3pm - 6pm– Hockey Only

6pm-8pm—Family Skate/No Hockey

8pm-10pm—Hockey Only

Hockey is only allowed during scheduled hockey times.  If hockey is being played at other times, hockey privileges will be taken away. 

Rink Location
The Davis Lane rink is located on the Davis Lane Tennis Courts.  Parking is in front of the rink and rink access is by the paved walkway to the open gate.

• Skating alone is not recommended.
• Alcohol and Tobacco is prohibited.
• Dispose of trash properly.
• Outside equipment, such as goals, are not to be used at the rink without prior consent from the Recreation Department.
• No Hockey of any kind is allowed on this rink.
• No skates on the tennis courts. Ice Skates must only be worn on the Rink or padded areas by the benches.

10am – Dusk - Free Skate

The Rink Closes at Dusk.  No Night Skating is permitted on the Davis Lane Rink.  Night Skating is allowed on the AMS Rink
