The Amherst Parks & Recreation Department is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated and skilled individual to fill the year round part time position of Recreation Administrative Assistant. Under the direction of the Recreation Director, the Recreation Administrative Assistant prepares staff payroll, maintains personnel and volunteer records, inputs information into accounting software, answers and responds to department phone calls and assists with department events and programs when needed. Candidates must have experience with personal computer use including Microsoft Office and publishing software as well as managing finance software.
