Recreation Program Coordinator
Pay Range: $23.69 - $28.87 Per hour
The Amherst Parks & Recreation Department is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated and skilled individual to fill the full-time position of Recreation Program Coordinator.  Under the direction of the Recreation Director, the Recreation Program Coordinator plans, organizes, schedules, and implements year-round sports, activities, and events for the department.  Candidates must be up on the current recreational trends and have the ability to develop new recreational activities as well as enhance existing programs. Other responsibilities will include managing seasonal staff and volunteers, marketing programs, experience in Microsoft Office applications, ability to implement the Town of Amherst’s Financial Software and Recreation Software.  Interested candidates must also possess or be willing to obtain, CPR, Lifeguard instructor and Certified Park and Recreational Certificates.  Candidates must also understand that Recreation happens 7 days a week and must be willing to work some nights and weekends.  To apply, please submit letter of interest and resume to the attention of the Recreation Director, cfraley@amherstnh.gov, This position will stay open until filled.  Copies of Job Descriptions and more information can be found on the town of Amherst Website at www.amherstnh.gov or by emailing cfraley@amherstnh.gov.
