Trail Trekkers –
Trail Trekkers is all about getting outside and connecting with nature while disconnecting from technology. Join us for outside fun where we will hike, run, walk, explore, learn and be one with nature as we explore streams, brooks, and rivers.
WHO: Grades 1-4
WHEN: Wednesdays, October 2nd, 16th, 23rd & 30th. 2:30pm -4:30pm
WHERE: PMEC 66 Brook Rd Amherst, NH
FEE: $85.00 residents - $100.00-non-residents
Transportation will be provided from Wilkins Elementary School to PMEC. Remember to register your child within the “Pick-up-Patrol” system through the Wilkins website.
Sample Schedule:
2:30 PM- Pick up at Wilkins
2:40 PM- Arrive at PMEC
2:45- Grab snack and head outside!!! (Out onto one of the trails- fun weekly activity- adventure hike, games/physical activities, shelter building, outdoor survival skills, exploring habitats, learning about animals at PMEC… )
3:45- Head back to PMEC
4-4:30- Options: Gaga Ball, Weekly Nature Craft Project, Quiet homework time
4:30-Pick up
Please pick up on time. Any student remaining past 4:30pm will be billed a late fee. A minimum of 8 participants is needed to run this program.
