The Elf Workshop

Come to Peabody Mill Environmental Center and make your holiday gifts to give your family members.  We will have our PMEC elves on hand to help out, play games and serve refreshments!  You can make up to three different gifts that you will take home wrapped and ready to give.  Come have fun at the Elf Workshop and get ready for the holidays!


Who: Children up to 12 yrs - Please note: Caregivers are welcome to stay or drop off if child feels comfortable.

Meet The Instructors
Hello! I am Michele Koltookian, a fellow Amherst resident and mom of twin boys. I am so grateful to be a PMEC educator and to be able to share my passion for all things science and nature. I am a former researcher who worked in the field of dog genetics. I hold a B.S. in Marine Science and Biology along with an M. Ed. in secondary education. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, baking, reading, and spending time outdoors. I am excited to bring my love of science and the knowledge that I gained over the years to kids at PMEC.

Hi, I'm Miss Christine. I've lived in Amherst for 14 years, with my husband, 2 kids, dog, and 3 birds. When my kids were younger, we did lots of programs at PMEC, and always loved them. I'm happy to be here at PMEC helping another generation of families learn and explore nature here!
