9:00 AM - 2:00 PM    Creative Skill Builders Summer Camp - Creative Skill Builders Summer Camp
Join creative skill builders summer camp! The 4-day skill builders camp will combine art therapy techniques, mindfulness based strategies, yoga, nature-based experiences and therapeutic games. Daily camp experiences will foster self-awareness, increase self-expression, create opportunities to expand social skills, increase body awareness, explore positive and negative feelings, as well as develop coping strategies. This is a therapeutic educational camp program designed to enhance emotional literacy skills, while building resilience to manage the waves of positive and negative feelings that arise in our day-to-day experiences. Outcomes of participating in this group include an increased sense of confidence in expressing oneself, practice with perspective taking, and skill building through creativity and mindfulness. This fun and interactive camp will provide explicit opportunities to practice healthy social skill development through a variety of modalities: play, art, team-building activities, role-playing, yoga and movement activities. During the camp participants will work to create their own skill builder tool bag to bring home at the conclusion of camp. The skills tool bag will provide participants with a tangible reminder of their time at CSB camp. The camp will be structured to include a combination of creative arts experiences, a variety of mindfulness practices, yoga, nature-based experiences, and cooperative games. All art/yoga/mindfulness materials are included with the camp. Who: Grade 1st-5th When: August 18th- 21st Time: 9:00 am-2:00 pm Where: Peabody Mill Environmental Center- 66 Brook Road Fee:  $325R, $355NRMin: 6 Max: 20
