Participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of rowing and will use rowing machines (ergs) to learn proper form and technique. Participants will then be on the water and putting those newly learned skills into a real boat experience. BLRC has a competitive rowing club at SHS for high school students in both fall and spring seasons, and has also developed many of its rowers into collegiate athletes both nationally, and internationally. Program Details Who: Grades 7-9Where: Baboosic Lake (25 Broadway) Dates: Mon/Wed - 5/6, 5/8, 5/20 & 5/22 from 4:15-5:45pm(No class on 5/13 and 5/15)Fee:$50R; $60NRPlease note- A minimum of one "classroom" fundamental day is required to go on the water.
