Functional strength training focuses on exercises that prepare the body for activities performed in daily life.  Incorporating functional compound movements with added resistance or just body weight will increase muscle mass.  Addition of muscle will improve strength, endurance, balance and overall fitness. Classes will include education on good form with activities that include progressions and regressions for each activity. An afterschool therapeutic educational program designed to assist children to develop social and emotional skills to support healthy development.
